Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Watch out for new agers who are twisting this truth to promote all sorts of false beliefs. We are not a God in any sense of the word, yet God does tell us that their is power in our tongue. I think the reason for this is our faith will dictate our words. Remember in the Bible when David spoke with faith what God would do with Goliath. David wasn't a God whose words commanded the universe to attract what he had visualized. On the contrary God in Heaven above was moved by David's faith in him. So speak boldly with faith for our God is well able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all! That we ask or even think!! He is a name above every name!!

Think about this why does he have to seek whom he may devour? I believe the answer is simple. He has to seek because he can't destroy everyone! He can only devour those who allow him. Don't allow satan any victory in your life remember "greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world."
